I can’t get my candle to stay on my spell jar.

My candle keeps falling off my spell jar and I don’t want to spend money by buying thick pillar ones. If i light it on the side atop a candle holder would that still activate my spell? If so, would it be less strong?

Anyways heat the bottom of the candle a little up, so it will stick on the jar

I always drip a little wax on top, let that dry and then melt the bottom of the candle a little and stick it on top.

The success of your spell depends on your intention, focus and the will to make it happen. You can pour glue, tape it shut, drip wax or find other ways to seal it. But when you seal it with pure mental will, concentration, intention and power, that’s when the magick ignites. So don’t worry about that.

What if you glued a thumb tack pointy part facing upward, so you can pierce the candle on it? thumbtacks pictured below
