This has happened since I (AFAB, 24) was 3, but it hasn’t happened in about 4 years to this extent. I don’t have anyone talk to about it anymore that’s experienced this themselves, so I’m coming here.
I live in a 100 year old apartment building. A week into moving in in 2020 there was one energy trying to get my attention (older woman, a stranger). I saged the apartment down heavily since the last place I was in—also 100 years old—was an absolute nightmare spirit situation, and I later found out that Al Capone had once rented the floor above mine. I did not want to have a repeat of a woman that was just jealous that I was literally just alive. It sucked. So I saged the place, and as stated, this was 4 years ago and the last intense experience.
Now, each time I’m at the elevator on my floor, I see this guy nearly clear as day in my peripheral. Mid to late twenties, Caucasian, nearly 6ft, in workout/ath-leisure clothing. It’s like his time and movements operate insanely slowly though. It took like a week or 2 for him to turn and look at me, which is new-ish to me. My dog has also seen or sensed him a couple times, but is pretty on-guard about him.
I’ve tried not to acknowledge him, but it’s hard not to look when I notice someone. Tonight he scared me badly though as I was getting out of the elevator and taking a right to go to my apt. He was directly to the left of the elevator door. I calmly tried to go into my apt, and a part of his energy slipped in. I immediately burned palo santo around my apt, my dog, and I—smoked my groin area too. It seems like a part of him is still here, like a calm portion of his energy is, so I guess I’m letting him hang in the living room tonight, but I want him to go. It’s not healthy.
