I have been working with a psychic… next steps

I’ve been seeing a psychic consistently for about a month, we’ve been doing a spiritual cleanse to remove negative energy from me. I honestly have been feeling the effects of it and felt amazing until last week when I shared all of this with two close friends. I got lots of envious/doubtful/fearful energy from them and felt it pierce through my being and I haven’t really been able to shake it off since then (its been about 4 days). I didn’t tell the psychic that I told, but she called me today saying she sees a shift in my energy and I need spiritual protection and is now asking for another fee. While I see results in the work we’ve done so far, I feel a bit annoyed that there is an additional fee for protection. When we first started the work, she said that she would teach me how to protect myself. When I brought that up today over the phone, she said she didn’t think I would need this additional service but I do. My intuition is telling me to continue working with her, but part of me is wondering if I’m just desperate for resolve and wanting really badly to heal. I’m worried that i’m being sucked into a rabbit hole and in a few weeks there will be some other fee or service that I need. Any insights on this?

I mean hiring psychic to help you with stuff is ok as long as this doesnt end up in a habit. Ideally you should be able to learn basics of cleansing, protection and other stuff you might need by yourself. You can’t just keep hiring psychic to do stuff for you everytime something comes up.

Instead of paying another money to get the job done, try to find someone to teach you or learn it yourself.

A spiritual cleanse could potentially be legit, but it’s something you can do yourself for free. And you say you’ve been paying her for a month to do this?

The whole ‘removing negative energies’ and now ‘protection’…. I’m sorry OP, forgive my cynicism, but this has all the red flags of a scam.

What exactly is she doing for you at each session?

I believe if she noticed the shift in your energy she’s pretty good and she knows what she’s doing , psychics works this is a professione they can’t obviously do things for free .
This is exactly as a would a doctor or a therapist suggesting to get one more visit , massage , therapy before healing would be completed so I feel you should trust your gut on this and complete what you started and then maybe for future reference learn some self healing .
