They have posted elsewhere (in astrology subs) and nobody even entertained their questions. It’s sad that a meme sub is the only way to connect or even get a broad idea of astrology.
Not here we are! Why? Because people want money and I get that. I really do. But…it’s like religion. You can’t shit on Christian leaders making money off the congregation when that’s exactly what others expect to do in astrology as well. There are plenty in astrology that expect a tithing of sorts. There are plenty that do not and we should direct people in that direction.This sub has a lot of communication going on which the other astrology subs do not. It was supposed to be memes but somehow, memes connected us and help us relate to one another. Most of us (I could be wrong) live in a capitalist society and that reality seems to be a double edged sword. We want some clarification, but you’re going to have to pay for it. We need money to live, but should we make it doing it in this way? I’m inclined to say no. Just like I do with religion.
The consensus is: memes are great. very general, and fun.
However..it allows us to create and distill discontent or connection through negativity and an echo chamber. How is this any different than politics? It isn’t useful to brigade on hate and create solidarity upon stringent and superficial ideals or beliefs on any one sign.
I’d love to hear your perspective and also some disagreement on what I have stated.
