I think I communicated with my grandma who has Alzheimer’s?

My grandmother has had Alzheimers for a long time now, we were very close before she got ill but now she has no idea who I am. It’s deeply upsetting, and I miss her. A few nights ago I had a vivid lucid dream where I was teleported to her house. My grandma remembered me, and was making food in the kitchen when I arrived. She seemed quite stressed and frantic in a way about something, but was happy to see me when I came into the house. She gave me a big plate of food, we sat down and ate while talking. She looked at me and said, how could I ever forget you? it was so heartwarming and nice, I woke up a few moments later. The following day I got a phone call with my parents where they said my grandma’s Alzheimer’s has declined, and she can’t eat solid food anymore. There’s never been issues with food before so this was completely unexpected and left field, it really shocked me and was surreal given the dream I had. Does it sound to anyone else like I was actually at the house and speaking to her spiritually? I’ve been astral projecting lately, having spiritual encounters (positive and negative) and feel like the door to spirituality and psychic abilities is opening for me currently. I’d be really interested and grateful for peoples thoughts! thank you

I had a couple with Alzheimer’s as patients. I can tell you that while their body is not cooperating with them, that they do travel astrally and they do visit people in dreams. In their spirit state they are just fine. Believe you two were together.

I had a fantastic reading with a brilliant medium when my Nan was declining from cancer, she wasn’t really with us and couldn’t eat or drink.

I’d hoped to reach out to my other grandparents but oddly my Nan who was passing came through, telling me about things I’d moved in the house and things she’d like brought into her room.

So I think it’s very possible, even though due to a horrible illness your grandmother doesn’t recognise you, her spirit certainly does and always will.

There is an idea that people with Alzheimers have already begun shifting their focus into another dimension, what is left behind is not as consciously driven by the “Soul.”

This is really similar to an experience I had with my grandma. My grandma and I were very close and I was the one person she forgot. She knew my face, but didn’t know my name or how/if we were related. A few days after she passed, she came to me in a very vivid dream and talked to me. She let me know everything was okay, that she remembered me, and that she would always be around.

I have dreams every now and then of us talking and her fussing over my short finger nails. I’m sorry about your grandma, try to think of all the happy memories you’ve had together, she’s letting you know it’ll be okay. 💙
