I want to write about a synastry chart for my friends as a wedding gift. What aspects should I look for?

Sorry if this is vague lol I don’t want to make their birth info public. But when you look at a synastry chart, what’s the first thing you look for?

Well, sorry, I’m afraid I’m going to be a party pooper here, but just for the sake of education — if you don’t know the answer to your question, the most basic of steps, then you have no idea how to do a synastry chart for a couple. And to tell a couple things about their relationship when you aren’t skilled or experienced in astrology, is not a good idea under any circumstances. There’s a real responsibility in what we tell people. And especially for a couple, damage could easily be done even when your intentions are the best.

Also, can you fully delineate just a natal chart? Because that’s a huge part of synastry – not just looking at the synastry. You have to pull in all the conditions of each person’s natal planet.

I’d suggest instead something like getting an artistic print of both their natal charts, framed together, or one of their composite chart. Etsy.com has all sorts of really nice, artistic charts you can get and frame up nicely. And that could be a beautiful gift.

Back to doing up a synastry – I’d suggest you listen to this episode, to get a feel for how involved real synastry is. And I can recommend the guest’s book. But, you’ll learn a lot if you listen to the episode.
