GuestMay 29, 2023 at 11:56 amYears ago, a friend gifted me one of these that she found in her garden. I wanted to gild it and make it into jewelry, but in the meantime, I kept it on an altar.
At the same time, I had met a man from France, and after a few months, he came back to the States to stay with me for a bit.
He remarked on how creepy the bird skull was once, and I told him that I liked it, so he dropped it…..I thought.
I later made him leave early because he was drinking A Lot and I wasn’t into it.
After he left, I was cleaning and noticed that the bird skull was just gone. I texted him to ask what he had done with it, and he claimed he didn’t know what I was talking about. This was 2013 and I am still mad about it.😂

GuestMay 29, 2023 at 11:56 amDepending on where you live you may want to check local laws on scavenging. In the US, Migratory Birds are protected by law, and even taking feathers off the ground can get you in trouble. Of course, that’s only if people know and report you. But it’s good to know what laws apply to you.
