my mom knows a guy who did a reading for her years ago and predicted some things that were pretty specific, i am always open to this kind of stuff so i thought i would try too. he said some pretty interesting things to me but the one thing that i don’t quite know is when he was talking about a future husband and kids. he was pretty specific of how the person was gonna look like and where they would be from. also that we would have one child and then probably adopt the rest because i apparently have issues with fertility. i am a bit worried at hearing that even though kids aren’t really a thing a want any time soon at all, hasn’t really been a thing i’ve been thinking about but still. i also almost feel like the person he described is very far fetched and i forgot to mention he was talking about another relationship or two before but i don’t look to date and definitely wouldn’t want short term like that. not sure what to make out of this all. i don’t know if it has to be specific or if it can just be an example. i would like to think nothing is really set in stone.

nothing IS set in stone… some “seers” aren’t fully aware that what they are seeing is an amalgamation of three most prominent timelines/outcomes… sure if they see *this scenario* in all three potentials then the probability is very high IF you’re not on the spiritual path (meaning you don’t change the way you’re thinking and your patterns a lot)
I love getting predictions but fuck it. less than 20% of the predictions i’ve got have actually manifested. Maybe the reading was for you too look into what you REALLY want your life to look like?? It is also silly that you would create/manifest a life if you don’t want it to be that way. If its for you, and that’s what makes you happy then you will create it. I don’t believe “fate” will fuck you over lol and make you suffer with a way of living that you don’t enjoy.
I would look at the predictions like – oh, this is what my life could look like. Do I want it to look that way? What actions am I currently taking that might lead me to that outcome? Do I want that outcome? Do I want to change any actions?

Nothing is ever set in stone. Rather the true seers tell you the probability of something happening if you let things be without any conscious effort.
If a seer told me that I would die from a piano falling over my head tomorrow but I stay home the whole day, the piano would not fall and the seer would be a liar. Not necessarily, the seer told me one possible reality but I changed it by staying home – free will – and it never came to pass.
So relax. Maybe see a doctor, maybe eat right and exercise more. It’s all up to you. Free will.

I think the purpose of a reading should be to get guidance or support. If this reading didn’t really help you, then don’t think too much about it. Psychics aren’t always accurate and you still have free will.

If you actually meet this man exactly as the psychic said and have the one child and then fertility issues, then either you will have a sort of self fulfilling prophecy, or this psychic is God.
I have never experienced a reading where I was told something was going to happen in such and such a manner and in such and such a time frame, and then it actually happened. Not once…
It makes you wonder. Or at least it does for me. Besides getting a sense of false hope, what is the point of a reading if the future is always changing and never set in stone?

Oof although I understand the responses above I had my own experience, of course, I was not looking for love, but for some of us the universe brings ppl to help heal and grow. The health issue absolutely check it out no question, the person I went to told me I was going to have lots of problem if I did…., I didn’t listen and now I can’t take certain meds. It doesn’t hurt to at least look into it!
