I went to two different psychics and asked them if I had already met my twin flame. They both said no. However I have this deep, strong feeling in my heart that my twin flame is my ex-partner. Could we be karmic soulmates instead?

Here’s why I believe are souls are connected somehow:

– I am a Capricorn. He is a Libra. Earth Sign and Air Sign. Feminine and Masculine. Opposites. I read that twin flames are supposed to be opposites of eachother and this can be observed in the birth charts.

– On the day we met (We met at a community center) I wasn’t even supposed to be there and he didn’t want to go at all but was forced to against his will. It’s like despite all odds the universe wanted us to meet.

– I distinctly remember telling him not long after we met “You know even though we just recently met it feels like I’ve known you forever.”

– He’s the only person I’ve dated that I felt like I could be 100% my weird, cooky, goofball self around. We felt like we could even expose our shadow sides to eachother.

– He was a highly spiritual person. I am too. We complemented eachother that way.

However the two psychics I went to both said that I haven’t met my twin flame. If two physics are saying the same thing then it’s an obvious true message. Could my ex-bf be my karmic soulmate instead? (I say karmic because the relationship ended very badly and we are currently not on speaking terms but it did teach me a lesson and enhance my spiritual growth at the same time.) Is there a huge difference between a twin flame and a karmic soulmate? All I know is…I am 100% certain he is part of my soul family in some way. I just want to figure out how.

I’m not sure, but I do know a twin flame is not something you want. It can be incredibly toxic, as you spend the most time with one running and the other chasing. You’ll spend more time in separation than union.

The mainstream has romanticized twin flames, and now everyone thinks they have one. Most connections are karmic, because most connections highlight an area in which we need to heal and grow.

Recognition, intense chemistry, lessons and synchronicity are all themes one may experience on a twin flame journey and with a karmic partner. The main difference is that karmic partners are meant to teach us something and then we let them go if we’ve learned the lesson. Oh girl this sounds way to familiar even the part about being your first sexual partner. So when I was in my early 20s, I went down to my family’s home country and a bruja told me honey you will have two men come into your life do not stay with the first, the second is much better.
I have gonna through so much shit with that relationship, it was toxic. I found myself doubting my feelings, staying quite when I know I should speak up.
