I would like to dream with my dad.

It’s been a month now since my dad passed away, of a possible drug overdose.

I didn’t have communication with my dad and hadn’t seen him in over 4 years. I have immense guilt and regret that I will not get to see him again.

That night I felt a presence, & it touched me for a quick second. I know it was him. But every night I wish that I will dream with him. I just want to know he is okay and that he is happy whenever he may be.

I think of him everyday and just want a sign of him.

Firstly, I’m so sorry for your loss. My dad passed in 2013, and he came to me in a dream the night before the 1 year anniversary of his death. The thing is, we never know when they’re planning on dropping by, so the only thing we can do is patiently wait. If you’ve already felt him before, I have no doubt he’ll be popping up soon for you.

Maybe your anxiety and guilt around it is making hars for this communicatie that you want and need so much to happen. I’d say just sorta let go for a while and just be, we also don’t know how he will want to communicate. Maybe you will feel his smell, maybe something in you house will move, maybe a dream or a message, or animals could approach you.

We don’t even know how he will communicate so, try to stay calm and keep your heart open, say a player to him and then stay calm, you already have a connection to your dad, the signs will come thru eventually

Yes your are correct we cannot will it to happen. The world that he is in is different, those laws do not apply to this world. He will come but in his own time, I know the guilt is eating at you but be patient he will.

There’s a bit of a learning curve to being dead, just like there’s a learning curve to living with loss. Please don’t worry about your connection. Rest assured that he will come through when things are better for both of you.

I would recommend Destiny of Souls by Michael Newman for background reading; through regression hypnosis sessions he gathered and documented a lot of information from people that had passed. There are hypnosis practitioners, that can help. But they can’t always direct how a session would go. I would suggest Alba Weinman or Antonio Sangio YouTube channels, they are active practitioners, if you want to explore that method. You can also research Astral travel and lucid dreaming. I tried the former, and had some success I just didn’t stick with it. There is so many books I don’t have a sure fire recommendation. I read Robert Bruce years ago, when there were hardly any books on the topic, and it was helpful. Good luck!
