I was thinking that there is a reason we have Jupiter returns, Saturn returns, but we will never experience our Pluto return.. why? Do you think that our Pluto placement literally holds our generational trauma? Like the cycle begun somewhere and now you complete it, with the sign it’s in. What if you experience something let’s say with pluto in sag that is somehow possible to be connected to when pluto was in sagittarius before this (which I can’t even look up because the planet wasn’t discovered but it’s long before the 1800’s somewhere). But what if, every generation has their Pluto in a specific sign just so it can point to the exact generational trauma they need to work through? Like it’s still a cycle but so big that it needs generations to be completed. And it’s unfortunate that it can’t be looked up with exact dates because pluto didn’t even complete it’s very first cycle.. but what do you think??

Astronomers today have a confident set of planetary ephemerides, extrapolated from real sightings. You can find such ephemerides, that include Pluto, that cover the period 5000 BCE, to 2999 CE, [here](https://www.astro.com/swisseph/swepha_e.htm).

Plotting history by astrology is mundane astrology. It’s a very intriguing study, especially when considering the outer planets. Pluto has a 248-year cycle, and if you look back 248 years ago, you will find the top world power of the time (the sort of power that involves Pluto) going through similar relationships with other nations, as is happening today with our top world power, one complete Pluto cycle further on. The generational trauma that went on in individual lives back then, parallel those of today. You do need to keep in mind, though, that the other planets have their own movements, that do not align with, for example, Pluto, and need to be considered separately, for separate expression of those planetary archetypes, in the lives of those concerned.

I think this interpretation is possible, but I wouldn’t say that with certainty. What I would say is that people alive now with Pluto in Sag natally are facing the same types of power struggles and will be excavating the same depths as future people who are born with Pluto in Sag. So their struggles will likely have similar energies but I don’t know that they are specifically generationally connected in the way I think you mean. In the same way that people born with the Sun in Leo this year aren’t picking up some type of torch from the people born with the Sun in Leo last year. I think of it more like the energies have cyclical patterns, and so people born under those patterns at different points face similar energies. I’m not saying that your interpretation couldn’t be correct; I’m just saying that there isn’t any tradition telling us it is true (with Pluto being so new, there is barely any tradition for it at all!), and so I would be cautious about taking that interpretation and assuming it is true.

I really wanted to make it work that we could start using Pluto signs in place of generation names like Boomers Gen Xers etc.

But it just doesn’t quite work. The world wars screwed it up. Lol. It works for millennials onwards though. Millennials are Pluto in Scorpio, period.

I wanna write an essay about it so bad plz pray for me that I do it instead of scrolling more memes

I don’t clearly see how Pluto could relate to generational trauma. In my readings, I have come across aspect between outer planets and chiron being one of the indicators of generational trauma (for instance, saturn opposite chiron). However, I would like to point out that Pluto may definitely show how each generation will be traumatized and take control of power. Especially with my generation of People born with Pluto in Sag, I have noticed that the power comes to them through knowledge creation and hoarding of that knowledge creation. Secrets are shared, but in a way that it matters academically. Moreover, my generation is also one of those people who have started working on painful experiences of self, sharing their personal knowledge as an act of Power accumulation.

With the earlier generation of Pluto in Scorpio, I noticed severe dark secrets as a source of power accumulation. These secrets, like hanging skeletons in the closet, could call doom on your doorsteps.
