CharlesParticipantI know planets represent certain things (like how Neptune represents creativity), but what things symbolize the planets. I see how in predictive astrology people will refer to planets as certain items (I was reading about 9/11’s chart and Uranus was referred to as a bomb). Thanks!

Mercury is your crazy cousin who knows all the best places to hang out, knows where to get the best drugs, and always has that friend who is out of town so Mercury is staying at their place.
Venus is favorite Aunt, she is fun, saucy, always makes you and everyone else feel like your a best thing in the world
Mars is your hardcore Uncle, he is an ex-marine, chain smokes from morning to night, he is a pain in the ass to be around, but he always gives you a direct answer and knows how to get shit done.
Jupiter is grandad, he always wants you to come visit and go fishing, he wrote all the dad jokes and if you can get him to stop being a silly old man for half a minute he will tell you the secrets of the universe.
Saturn is grandma, she has seen and done it all. She has seen the result of every decision you will make before you even make it. She knows you better than yourself and will keep smacking you upside the head till you figure out that you should listen to her. If you help her clean the house and finish the daily chores so she can rest her old bones, she will make fried chicken for you every time you visit.

Neptune represents drugs, alcohol, paint, music…
Mars is confrontation, excitement, fighting. It can represent car accidents, surgeons, soldiers, anything military. So on so forth! -

Moon- mother/mother figure and wife.
Mercury- sibilings
Venus- girlfriends
Mars- boyfriends
Jupiter- some say that it could also represent a husband im some ways but i’m not sure if i agree with this. It could also represent children (i think in general).
Saturn- also father or father figure (in a way) or grandaparents and teachers (older people).
Pluto- dead people
Lilith (asteroid) – misstres (lover)
Neptune & Uranus – not sure.
This is ofc if you are only asking about planet representations in terms of social/family relations. They do represent alot of other things too.

GuestSeptember 16, 2021 at 2:44 amThese are all general and not always applicable in every chart***
Mercury can signify siblings and also peers generally, like classmates and coworkers, as wel as “tradespeople”, people you do business with, and messengers or heralds of any kind
Venus can signify women/femme people generally, but also people of any gender with whom you might have a romantic relationship or friendship
Mars can signify men/masc people generally, but also people of any gender with whom you might have a sexual relationship as well as opponents or people who challenge you, which could include people who act as “coaches” in some way as well as enemies
Jupiter can often signify teachers or benefactors/patrons
Saturn can also signify teachers (often the more tough love variety). It’s also often associated with the father, but it can be parents generally as well as grandparents
