Remember – (o yeah, you can’t remember, of course, so maybe you could notice) –

we were tortured by the older generation for big changes with hair length, appearance, our MUSIC and being anti-war. We offended the SHIT out of the patriarchy/hierarchy. We were beaten up, stabbed, shot (yes murdered) and put in jail. For our beliefs. Land of the free home of the brave my ASS.

The hierarchy continues to be terribly threatened by us rebels, and turning us against *each other* continues to be one of their best tactics to keep us all distracted. From what really matters.

Anyway your outfit is charming and lovely. If i stared in public, it would be gazing out of sheer delight! Thank you for sharing.

I love the look but don’t worry – you dress like a lot of those boomers’ kids did in the 90s. The Craft was huge then. They’re probably reminiscing 🙂

There have been “dress to shock” witches in every decade. All black was in with witches in the 70’s and lace in the 80’s-The Craft was def. a thing, and of course goth, etc…
I’m guessing the folks you surprised were *conservative* (politically or religiously) and that you would surprise younger conservative folk as well.
So let’s *acknowledge* that:
A: If we’re surprising anyone it’s conservatives not someone of a particular age. (*Smash the patriarchy not each other.*)
B: That some folks might find the B word a titch offensive…
C: There were women before us that worked hard, or went to jail (like when wearing pants in public was illegal) so that we could all have the freedom we have today.
