I don’t know if this is the right sub, my apologies if it’s not.
I am a very closeted crystal papa. I’ve found comfort, strength, and even guidance in my various citrine and quartz stones I keep on my desk and in my pocket.
I bathe them in full-moon light, I give them rinses, I arrange and honor them.
A few weeks ago, my oldest was playing outside and I was watching from my kitchen. I saw her stop what she was doing, turn, and start walking toward the door. I figured she was getting cold so I went to meet her at the door, hold it open for her.
She stopped as soon as she saw me and said “crystal breakdown”, and went back to playing where she previously was.
It was so odd, and yet I didn’t ask her why she said it. It was simply so matter-of-fact that I just accepted it and we both went back to what we were doing before.
That event stayed in my mind, I never asked her why she said it (because I didn’t really want her to question it either, if this is something she’s coming into…. I think prying it with questions only weakens your connection).
Yesterday morning I was getting ready to take my kids to school when my favorite citrine fell out of my hand and shattered into three pieces (one large chunk, one smaller chunk, and one very sharp shard). I’m new to this so I didn’t know what to do. I threw the shard away for fear of the kids hurting themselves, and I pressed the two larges pieces into my hand and remembered what my oldest said to me just weeks prior.
So…. opinions? What just happened, what should I do?
