I was playing a dice game with my 9yo kid this afternoon. It's a baby shark "trouble" type game where the best roll is a 6 because that allows your piece to come into play, and then you get a second roll to move. The number of sixes we got in the game today was unreal, like really weird, beyond the point of feeling like good luck. It felt like every second or third roll was a six throughout the entire game.
Also, there were a few times where my son was like, (not to anyone in particular, just normal talking while playing a game) "okay, I need a six then a two" or something, and that sequence of events happened. The requested sequence happened twice in a row. 6,2 then 6,1, as requested.
[Edit: in case it's relevant, my kid and I had a really meaningful conversation about feelings before playing the game and we had lots of love and hugs (and tears, on his end).]
This is the type of thing I've never really considered as a thing, but what happened today was so weird that it felt beyond random or good luck. I hope I flaired correctly. Thanks!
