Insane experience during mediumship class

I’ve always been intuitive and decided to take an intuitive development course. Today was my very first class. The instructors showed me an image and asked me to tune into it and share any messages I might receive through the different clairsenses one-by-one. They asked me to share a description of any spirits that came through, their personalities, any dates (months) they might mention, letters from their names, and any hobbies, tastes and smells that I am able to receive.

I really, honestly thought that I couldn’t get into mediumship because I don’t have the skill for it. When I started sharing the messages that came through I really felt as though I was making things up. But the insane part is that the instructors validated about 80% of what I shared. It was really insane and I am just super flabbergasted by this experience. Never in a million years would I have guessed that I could connect to spirit like this. I’m still in shock and part of me is definitely wondering whether it was all just a fluke and I was just making things up.

Would love to hear experiences from others on this sub about their first such experience.

This may seem unrelated but I assure you it is very related. In the 1970’s, during the height of the Cold War, the US armed forces heard that Russia had started a psychic spying program. Fearing that the soviets would have any kind of advantage over them CIA sponsored Project Stargate to test remote viewing and other psychic abilities for the purpose of spycraft. This was a very real program that ran for 20+ years being renewed on a yearly basis. This also was not the only program as each branch of the military had their own programs and most likely still do. This sounds crazy yet there is documentation and the PhD scientists who have led the program – Russell Targ and Hal Puthoff as well as many of the participants Ingo Swann, Joe McMoneagle and many others have come forward. What they found is that every single human is psychic. All of us. They would pull in people as the “control group” to test remote viewing and every single person was able to do this. Now remote viewing requires a double blind test – just like placebo. Think about what the placebo effect really is and why we have it – here is an article from [Harvard Health](https://www.health.harvard.edu/mental-health/the-power-of-the-placebo-effect) regarding the affect. If we lived in a strictly material world then there would be no need for the double blind trials.

You can read your remote viewing abilities – we have a very fine community here on Reddit /r/remoteviewing and there are free apps like RV Tournament that also can be uktilized.

So let me sum this up for you – we are all psychic and it doesn’t just begin and end with mediumship. Keep going – do more research on places like the [Institute for Noetic Sciences](https://noetic.org/) and the [Monroe Institute](https://www.monroeinstitute.org/). Don’t pigeon hole yourself just to this set of skills.
