Interpretation of dreams – spiritual? Shared exp? Help!

Hi, hoping somebody could help me wrap my head around this dream that occurred a day or two after the death of my dad…

In the dream, I was in this room (I felt like it was my future home) a black door abruptly slammed shut – I wasn’t scared nor did it make me jump, I just innately knew it was my dad shutting the door, I had no question that he was trying to show he was there, and this comforted me. The dream itself didn’t freak me out. However, as I woke up my boyfriend (who is not spiritual/a believer) woke up at the same time and he turned to me really shocked, before I had chance to ask what was up he had described to me the exact same dream as me. Every detail described was identical! This is what made me feel a bit 🤯

I can’t quite piece how and why we both dreamt the same thing at the same time.

I’m just wondering, how would you interpret this dream? Is this a visitation? And how is it that two people can have the same dream – is this a shared spiritual experience or just a mere coincidence?

I would say, yes, your dad did visit you. And yes, people do have shared dreams. Sometimes it’s gets crazier than that. You interpreted your dream correctly. Trust your intuition. Meditate and speak to your dad. Let him in your dreams to keep up your relationship.
