Is hearing people talking at night time when I’m tired a psychic ability or is that normal?

It is both. Psychic abilities ARE normal.

I get this sometimes at night. It’s like I hear them over a radio or walkie talkie, little blips here and there. Super weird, but super interesting

A lot of psychic mediums start out that way. Voices in your head or many voices speaking directly to you could be an undeveloped ability. The veil between the living and the dead has seem to be very thin lately and more spirits are seeking out mediums to solve unfinished business or to pass on messages. Sometimes they just know you have the ability and just want to be heard.

Most probably hypnagogic hallucinations, unless you engage in full on conversation with detail you can later confirm. It’s quite common.

Sounds like clairaudience! I’m growing into my mediumship and that happens to me on occasion now too. Every night I hear music from the spirit world

I used to hear my name loudly whispered in my ear over and over when I would try to sleep. It went on for years as a child.. then just went away. What could this be?

Please explain it in some more detail. Do you mean people talking in your head like conversations while falling asleep or just people in general.

This happened to me recently. I heard a man having a conversation. I wasn’t dreaming. I was tired and my eyes were closed but I was fully aware of this occurring in my mind. They weren’t talking to me. It was more like he was explaining something to someone but I couldn’t pick up on the topic. It happened two nights in a row.

this happens to me sometimes when I meditate sometimes, but I see the people too. I’m watching and listening in on their conversation, but they are never people I recognize. so strange.

I don’t hear people talking, but I see faces…like strangers. Sometimes in very vivid color. I’ve heard different interpretations. Some say it’s clairvoyance, others say it’s a psychological condition (the name is escaping me). But yes, always as I’m falling asleep.
For example, the other night, in the top left corner of my vision, a teenaged boy with brown hair wearing a Letterman jacket materialized for a second or two then disappeared. I see these types of things all the time.

Dude this is legit why I came into reddit JUST now. Last night I wasn’t in a dead sleep but sorta on and off and then outta nowhere I heard 3 solid knocks at my door and nobody was here. I even woke my partner and was like somebody’s here did you hear that?! But nothing….probably around 3:30 am. I almost wonder, now looking back, if it was a spirit attempting to get my attention?…
