is it normal for my good luck spell that i performed on the eclipse to go completely the wrong way?

doesn’t help that it’s mercury retrograde rn.. i did a good luck spell to gamble and got nothing. then i spent more money and regretted it so bad. this is normal, right? should i not do spells like that on eclipses and mercury retrograde anymore? was that an amateur mistake?

Well good luck spell and gambling isn’t the best combination.

Luck is fickle and isn’t going to coat every aspect of our lives with it. If your spell was a general luck spell then it’ll probably attach itself to the easiest thing it can bring you luck with. Luck with gambling is a lot more complex, and depending on what kind of gambling you are doing there very well may be other people who have some magick in play to try and win in their favor as well.
