I have been a working clairvoyant for 15 years and I have a wonderful and extensive group of spirit guides which help me with my development in lots of different areas as I work over a broad range. I work with one guide in particular in particular her name is Mathilde.
I could never understand which area she was meant to be guiding me in as whenever I would try to connect with her all I would see was a closed door. When I would ask she would tell me i wasnt ready yet.
A few months ago the door cracked open a little bit and I could see there was light emanating from behind it and since then I have been experiencing really strong aromas and scents coming through shortly followed by a lot of psychic information about a particular individual connected to the smells.
I had an experience years ago where a spirit mentioned possible mediumship abilities in the future but I wasn’t overly comfortable with that idea. I suppose I just assumed it would be more audible phenomenon and vocal connection from spirit. I had a terrifying experience as a child which essentially shut off the audible part of my gift ( I work visually and through sense) so I wonder if if smells is how this is manifesting.
Is this mediumship?

What an interesting post! As growth is inherent in life, it seems to me growth in automatic in us humans. I believe one will evolve wherever one puts his or her energy. Currently, I am putting energy into learning ways to connect to spirit and how to determine what type of spirit I am connecting with. Very few deceased spirits seek me out. I have labeled myself an occasional medium.
Your path is set. It is very interesting to hear about your unique growth. Good Luck!
