is my dad sending me a message?

hi there. my dad sadly passed away when i was very young, and i never really knew much about him. however, every night i say goodnight i love you to him! i’m not sure why, it just helps me sleep.
im currently going through one of the hardest times in my life, some things have happened that i consider to be some of the worst. tonight, i said my usual goodnight to my dad but as soon as i did it and closed my eyes.. rain started lashing down outside.
i started shaking, thinking it was possible just a coincidence until i said “i miss you” and the rain stopped.
i’ve never experienced something like this but i feel very overwhelmed. could this be a message or just a coincidence?
any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated<3
