Is owning a deck of tarot simply for novelty disrespectful in anyway?

Tarot was a card game for hundreds of years before it garnered occult traditions, so… why would it be?

No, I have six or seven and only actually read one or two. First and foremost, they’re art. Any art is collectible.

Not at all! A lot of decks are basically a body of highly stylized art work and a kind of working cultural artifact, outside of any personal use and beliefs!

I have like 4 decks and I only use one of them, think of it as collecting art! Or maybe collecting comic books.
