I’m trying to distinguish the terminology and I am struggling differentiating the difference between houses and domicile sign. Any guidance will help a lot, thanks!

No, they are not the same. Houses don’t have “domicile signs”, contrary to all the misinformation you see a lot of out there. Houses and signs are separate things. The 1st house is not an Aries house; the 11th house is not an Aquarius house. The only sign that is relevant to a house in a natal chart is the sign that is actually on the cusp of that house in someone’s chart.

Only planets have a domicile condition in a sign (no matter which house they are in). So, we’d say the following:

    * moon is domicile in cancer
    * sun is domicile in leo
    * mercury is domicile in gemini and virgo
    * venus is domicile in taurus and libra
    * mars is domicile in aries and in scorpio
    * jupiter is domicile in sagittarius and pisces
    * saturn is domicile in capricorn and aquarius

Uranus, neptune and pluto do not have domicile, nor detriment, exaltation or fall, though they are still important. Only the traditional planets are used with the traditional tools of rulership and dignities/debilities.

No the houses & zodiacs are different, the houses birthed the Zodiacs. I like to think of the houses as actual houses (or spaces) and the zodiacs are things that manifest from that space aka the children and it can show characteristics of the space that it was brought out of

nope! houses don’t have “natural rulers” and aquarius and the 11th house are different things. some people may tell you otherwise, but honestly sticking with that natural house cookie cutter ABC tomfoolery will only make things harder for you, especially as a beginner!

No Mercury (mind, how you process information and think) in Aquarius (detached, unique, fast, humanitarian way) while Mercury in the eleventh house means you like to communicate with big groups of people often humanitarian groups or just specific groups in general. Mercury In eleventh house likes and usually feels comfortable or a desire to share their thoughts/communicate with a wide audience and group while Mercury in Aquarius just thinks in a humanitariany/trendy/unique kind of way but doesn’t necessarily want to share their thoughts with a big group. Eleventh house has domain over big impersonal groups

no. I know there is a lot of new astrology that makes this connection but houses are not just signs that move fast.
