Is this a wand? I found it in my basement.

I found it buried behind random crafting supplies and such in a cabinet. For context, I bought this house from my mom and before that, it was my grandparents house. So it was my family home sort of but I don’t talk to any of them too much. Although I am not, my family has always been very traditional, Midwest, Christians. Like, as in, so Christian that I wasn’t allowed on the field trip to see Harry Potter in theaters in elementary school. I texted my grandma and my mom and they both said it looks familiar to them but both of them say they aren’t sure. My grandma says “it looks like a piece of an old hair pin.” My grandma was from the generation that kept EVERYTHING from her parents and their parents and so on. All of this being said, I would still consider myself to be a baby witch so this is super interesting considering my mom and grandparents were so heavy into Christianity that it was traumatic for me. But I also love the idea that maybe there is some sort of history of witchcraft in my lineage and I would love to explore it if so! Or, do you think she is right and this is just a hair pin?
Oh! And yes I did cleanse it and also the green paint was from me on accident! 🙂
