This was me as a little girl! My mom would get so mad. But I would just spend hours in the creek behind our house searching for rocks that just spoke to me… I’d just sit in the middle of that water surrounded by my element and feel my pockets with my friends. Then my mom’s would do the laundry and finding rocks in the washing machine and dryer certainly didn’t make her happy.

My husband and I joke that if you shake me by the heels all you’ll get are plant bits and shiny rocks. It’s 100% true though.
