My friend is Norwegian and I'm asking this more for her than myself. We share a common interest in stuff like NDEs and the paranormal, she'd be probably a very loose Christian but I guess we both believe in a lot of different things.

She opened up to me about a certain worry she had. A TV show over there featured a segment a few years ago from a guy who wrote a message before he died to see if any mediums could read it or communicate with him. About three thousand attempted but none were successful.

Honestly, as bad as this sounds, it seems like a really selfish thing he did. He did it to prove an afterlife doesn't exist. This guy had kids and there's something really shitty about trying to disprove it for everyone. What if his kids found it comforting believing in an afterlife? In fact, it's very fucking selfish.

The good news is, if, at most, you couldn't contact the dead, that would only prove you can't contact the dead. Not that there's no life after death. But I want to try and find a way to comfort her and ask her, are there any famous examples of people who did stuff like this, left messages or something similar, that a medium or psychic could find later on? Are there any successful examples? Thanks.
