Not sure if right flair but I have a question for you witches and I’m not sure where else to ask. To start I am nonbinary(32) and have recently rediscovered the magic of makeup after 6 years. That is where my question comes in. I prefer eyeshadow mostly but I’m looking for specific colors, namely shades of blue, purple, and black. I don’t want to waste my money on Walmart makeup that only has 2 or 3 colors of an entire pallet that I’ll actually use. Any suggestions will be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Unfortunately the closest target to me is about an hour out and I don’t like driving long distances alone. That being said I think I may have found the perfect palette for what I’m looking for. It’s by Beauty Bay and called Midnight.

My primary eyeshadow go to is ColourPop. They have so many colors and textures to choose from, plus their shadows (ime) are true to color and have very little fall out. You can build your own [palette](https://colourpop.com/pages/create-your-own-makeup-palette) or choose from one of their hundreds of palettes, or choose [single](https://colourpop.com/collections/powder-shadow) pots or stix.

I’ve seen ColourPop sold at my local Target, so that might also be an option for you.

Does Urban Decay sell where you are? They do sets which often include darker colours, and also sell single eyeshadow.

A Target near us usually carries some pretty cool makeup palettes. Not sure if all Targets have such a large makeup counter as ours, though?

Do you have an Ulta store near you? They also have a website. But if you can get to a store, they have a huge variety out so that you can try their pallets that are on display. I put them on the back of my hand to test out how well they blend, and go with my skin tone.

My go-to pallets are Revolution, because I love their color schemes and they are friendly to my budget. They were Buy 2 get 1 free; [here](https://imgur.com/a/09YrnHY) are two that I have , which I feel like have some colors you may like but they def have a lot of other variety’s. These were 7.50 online & have 18 colors each. They probably have other color schemes that match more what you are looking for, but my favorite is greens and that top one is excellent.

Ulta is also great because they have a loyalty program and you can collect points to redeem for dollars off your purchases. It comes in handy if you are going to be spending money there, and they also do makeovers, have a hair (some stores have nail salons I think but not mine). I spent 500+ (that I shouldn’t have) taking my nieces shopping, but I collected $90 worth of points. So that will come in handy next time I want to treat myself 🙂

Urban Decay is also great, it’s a little more expensive but that’s what I use for my black eye liner, and I used to have a deep green one. My look is usually black liner on bottom, and a color liner on the top lash line. And than I use whichever eyeshadows match my mood or my outfit for the day.

Sorry if I’m giving you more information than you asked for but this is what works for me 🙂

I’ll second Urban Decay for rich colors, and add Nars single shadows – specifically ‘night porter’ (daaaark metallic green) and ‘tropic’ (deep shimmery teal) I got mine at Sephora. Shiseido Pop ‘zaa zaa navy’ (slight shimmer dark blue) or ‘doki doki red’ (almost-magenta burgundy) might be up your alley too.
