I’ve had a lot of dreams recently that always boarder on the line of useful. Today I had a dream where my grandmother was offering me a thin slice of lemon with salt on it. At first I wrote it off, now I’m wondering if anyone knows any spell that have just these two. In the end, a dream may only be a dream, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

In my culture, salt + lemon are usually used for banishing bad energy inside the house.

Lemon and salt together make for a potent cut and clear. The lemon breaks up negative energy and the salt grounds it out. Fantastic for banishing and cleansing work!

Both salt and lemon are used for cleansing. Also however there is an uncrossing spell that uses just lemon and salt. Basically, if you feel like there is a cloud hanging over you and you are just in a bad way, and uncrossing spell is to help lift that cloud, get yourself back on track. Hope this helps, and I love that your grandmother is still looking out for you!

Mickie Mueller, a Witch author, has a Youtube video showing how to do a lemon and salt uncrossing spell. (I’ve done this spell a number of times over the years. It’s pretty standard.)

Both are useful for protection and cleansing. Make some preserved lemons and use them in your cooking. Lemon and salt are also a great mundane cleaning combo.

Was your granny witchy? Did she like beer? First thing I think of regarding salt & lemons is not witchcraft but rather stuffing it into an ice cold Corona beer and drinking it. 😉
