Mars Return in a Night Chart

Not sure if this is a question that should be posed in the r/traditionalastrology channel, but since it seems inactive, I’ll post it here.

For those born at night, how was your Mars return? I know that since Mars is the Favored Malefic, you’ll experience potentially more beneficial things similar to how a Saturn return would operate in a Day chart. I was wondering if this has been the case for some of you.

I’m asking this because I am curious of how comparable the nature of Mars is as the Malefic of Sect compared to Saturn as a Malefic of Sect.

Cool question. Just a quick note: Keep in mind that being in sect is only one piece of the pie. We don’t delineate a planet based on just one factor. We have to look, in each individual’s chart, even if they all are night sect charts, and see what other kinds of conditions that mars has – either other dignities/debilities, essential or accidental, aspects, what sign, who rules the house mars is in, what kind of house — all of it has to be taken together. And even for one person, a mars return won’t be the same for each return, because the other transits that are happening at the same time will be totally different, as they are about 2 years apart in occurrence. And no transit really acts in isolation.
