Mediums of Reddit How do you feel about redditors who expect you to do readings. Instantly?

I set appointments unless I am online and free. How does it maKe you feel if they turn out to be adults that read like kids, in their overall energy? (Shout-out to u/shaqdeezi, I don’t do reading for minors. Although I will remove energies for them, if their parents would be difficult, or their parents, or the children are in peril.)

If I suspect they are minors I don’t do extensive work with them, as usually it’s an exaggeration of a “crisis”. I may give an opinion, give advice, but I’m not going involve myself in that, as usually it’s a problem that would be better addressed through a counselor, rather than with a spirit worker. I only do readings for those who are adults. I don’t judge those who work with kids, but it’s my boundary, I don’t want to be between someone who is that version of vulnerable, and their parent.

Lots of people have weird expectations of me, many are entitled, and I just ignore people who are rude and ungrateful. I prefer crisis situations (spirit related) and that’s my niche. I get lots of requests outside of that and I try to refer to other practitioners when I can.

In short most people are ill informed about psychics, many end up being rude, and some are just extremely mentally ill. I try to mitigate all these things while not taking it personally, or expecting people to be kind or mature. Occasionally I have a good experience with someone who is thankful of my time, and I’m able to help and that’s nice, but mostly it’s a lot of boundary work, because people are volatile when they are scared.

I say up-front that I usually book about a week in advance. Unless we have an appointment, all the rest of my time is called for.
