How can it have an effect? If your Saturn squares or opposites your merc does that make you a very “strict” talker like you may not even like to talk if there is no purpose? Or does that give you a disciplined way of thinking? Then what about Mars? There are people who are so full of passion that when they talk about something they look like they are ready to fight for it!😄 Would that a mars-mercury aspect?

It depends on the aspect.
Poor mercury Mars aspects might lead to impulsive speech, inflexibility of belief, and being quick to argue.
Beneficial aspects could make one more passionate about their beliefs, give them an easier time putting action behind their knowledge and ideas, and make them persuasive speakers.

About like that you mean? I certainly have a pretty much diametrically opposed view to anything that the mainstream holds to be true. Like… astrology!
