I pick up that he is a very proud father. It’s like despite all the trouble he had dealt with growing up himself and the hard times he had been through he takes pride in having been able to provide a better life for his family both while he was alive and after he passed.
He’s very happy for you being where you are now and looking in new directions. There’s an energy about it that says this is something that has been in your family and it feels like a coming of age that you are now finding your way into.
With that is a message though that says don’t let yourself get all messed up over other peoples problems. That’s all separate from who you are.
It’s ok for you to move forward and find what makes you happy. You don’t have to wait on everybody else to catch up. You we’re always ahead of the pack

I get the sense that he had an amazing work ethic. Like being responsible and having an honest work ethic was important to him and something he tried to impart to others younger than him. And that he would bend over backwards not just for his friends—-but also go out of his way to help people he met. Extremely reliable—-like the one you could call for anything, and know he’d find a way to be there to help.
I also heard the name Jay, it sounded like.
