I don’t think phones ever open the links if you don’t choose to though.

Panther Modern. The code should be dissimulated in a portrait of Molly Millions.

However, the very act of having a QR Code on your shirt actually encourages people to film you who wouldn’t have in the first place. Therefore, if you did brick someone’s phone then I’m sure it could be argued that you had malicious intent, and would be responsible for the damages.

As a photographer I have to say I find this a bit annoying. If I’m photographing a street scene, I’m not going to ask everyone in that scene their permission to photograph them. It’s unnecessary and there is no legal expectation of privacy in public. Now that being said, I’m not going to go up on someone and just take their photo. That’s just not polite, and in that case the individual is the subject of the photo. I would prefer to have a model release on hand for something like that. Just a street scene, no.

Understand photographers are not all creepy, although there are some out there that are. They become very apparent very fast.

I don’t think they know how phones work. Taking a video doesn’t automatically scan QR codes.

They’d have to click the link. QR codes aren’t instant.

I like the thought of this. But if you happen to be in the way or walk by not noticing people are taking photographs, then that’s on you and shouldn’t be blamed on the photographer. This idea is honestly kind of shitty.

I hate modern security cameras. I hate being filmed or watched in public because it feels unsafe.

Knowing that modern security can catch my face for no reason and then keep it on file makes my anxiety even worse.
