Deck pictured: Golden Thread on the Labyrinthos app

Deck used for the reading: Golden Art Nouveau

I am a beginner and I have had my deck for a few days.
Today I tried a celtic cross because I wanted an in depth reading about a subject that has been bothering me for a very long time.
I used my physical deck and kept a record on the app that I now use for card meaning (alongside their very thorough website).

I was surprised by how I was capable of finding a story that applies so well to my situation and my problems.

Heart of the matter: Ace of wands reversed. Lack of passion/energy, boredom.

I am no longer interested by this project/field and it has been very clear to me for a few years.

Challenge: The Emperor. Authority, structure, control, fatherhood.

I struggle with discipline and self control and need to install a rigorous routine if I want to get over the lack of interest and get the job done.

Unconscious: V of swords reversed. Resentment, desire to reconcile, desire to forgive.

I’m tired and just want the whole thing to be over.

Past: II of wands. Making plans, planning, discovery.

This one I’m not sure how to interpret. I did have trouble with planning and sticking to a routine.

Conscious: Queen of cups. Compassion, calm, comfort.

I need to be more vocal about allowing myself mistakes and give myself the compassion that I give so freely to others.

Future: V of wands. Competition, conflict, rivalry.

It’s very competitive and tough so there will be conflict.

Querent: Page of pentacles reversed. Daydreaming, impracticality, laziness.

So, when I saw laziness I laughed. Because it’s incredibly accurate. I am lazy because I don’t really care anymore and the effort I need to put into it doesn’t seem worth it.

Environment: The Lovers reversed. Loss of balance, one-sidedness, disharmony.

I am not in the right environment/state of mind to be able to work properly. I need to clean, organize or even change my surroundings for better efficiency.

Hopes and fears: III of swords. Heartbreak, suffering, grief.

I expect the worst. I always have.

Outcome: The fool. Innocence, new beginnings, free spirit.

This could be a good ending after a lot of pain and sacrifices. I would finish the job and be free to move on.

I really love how the celtic cross allows you to write a story and give yourself the advice that was buried inside of you. I knew all of this and the cards allow me to make them resurface.

If you see something, please share!
