I am trying to wrap my head around the degrees more. I know that placements near 0 degree have importance, such as beginning karmic journey’s relating to a houses themes.

What about mid degree placements in a sign? (whole house)

Are these important or does it depend on which house a placement is in? Does anyone know a good site that has a list of important degrees?

I think that relevance of signs and therefore relevance of specific degrees is highly overestimated. Why? Because there is no coherent philosophy behind usage of tropical zodiac and for sidereal zodiac there are like 20 methods giving few degrees differences in signs. What most of people here think of as sacred, like spring equinox = 0 degrees aries, is just a custom/habit .
You can make predictions based on planetary aspects and houses and still be quite correct. At the same time there is a lot of people like me, who cannot make up there mind whether sidereal or tropical signs are more correct empirically.

If someone disagrees with me, I’d love to discuss instead of being downvoted without any word. In the past I used tropical zodiac and placidus house system like most people here. I was working with transits, secondary progressions and primary directions (and this are connected with specific degrees) and checked for myself what works. If someone can convince me, please do so.
