From what I know, this comes out as a see-saw between the gifts of Jupiter and the harshness of Saturn. You get both.

Jupiter seeks to heal or help always, even debilitated, he only harms by accident if he rules a malefic house or is really really afflicted.

Saturn seeks to harm, even at his best he still wants to cause misery and things human consensus deem “bad”.

When Jupiter and Saturn mix you see wisdom, likely and inheretences, and an alleviation of woes or debts,

If they mix by opposition you’ll see these and similar come about with difficulty or in troublesome ways.

If it were by trine it would be easy.

Either way, Jupiter wants to help Saturn always.

Interesting. I would expect that Jupiter will affect Saturn in such a way that you are less likely to lapse into some negative states, but Saturn would also make sure there won’t be so many delightful states:) This combo likely brings insecurity to your purpose and meaning of life- I have never heard that it produces greatness or that it is really bad and am curious to learn more.
