New to this… where do I start?

This is my first time on this subreddit. 2 years ago I was borderline atheist. I saw a YouTuber that I follow do a psychic reading on their channel. I had no belief in any of those things, but I decided to watch the video, and I was completely mind blown. I was very interested, so I decided to reach out to this psychic/medium. I had been feeling the strange strong urge to talk with my grandma who passed away long before I was even born. I have always felt a connection to her for some reason. I saw this psychic, and it completely changed my life. I am a firm believer in a spirit world of some sort, though I don’t know exactly what it consists of, I know that it’s there. I was told by this medium that I had a sensitivity, and that my grandma had been showing me signs of her presence, and I just haven’t picked up on it. When I was a kid I had an imaginary friend that I now have reason to believe was some sort of guardian angel or spirit that followed me, and I also had another strange spiritual experience when I was a preteen. I don’t really feel like getting into the details of those, but the point is, I do believe I have a sensitivity and I want to try and harness it. Where do I start with this? I’ve started looking into books that I could read but I don’t really know what the best option is. I thought coming here I might get some real first-hand insight. Even if you don’t have any recommendations, I am very curious to hear your experiences when it comes to learning how to harness these abilities. I welcome any comments, advice, insight of any sort. ❤️🔮😇

Including shamanic psychopomps(I personally only interact with human spirits to cross them over) Books generally will only come to you at specific parts of your journey to teach specific lessons and there are no one size fits all. Spirit science on youtube is the best resource I’ve found for generally learning about esoteric arts.
