Wassup, I’m new to witchcraft. Just started reading about it a few days ago, any tips? Do’s and Dont’s? As of now I only wanna do simple stuff, personal spells. Stuff that doesn’t require anything but myself being present.

Research, research research! Meditation and grounding is a good place to start before you get into anything too heavy. Lots of people recommend protection spells for beginner magic once you’re ready to start casting.

Don’t- overestimate your reach, or underestimate the reach of others…
Do- start with protection first and foremost!

    * I can recommend [Magickal Protection by Damon Brand](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UL9VFUO/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i1) as an excellent beginner friendly introduction to protective spells that are very easy to grasp and remarkably effective

I’ve learned that having good patience helps with everything. It is extremely fun to be eager and jump right into things, but sometimes if you were to just give things a night of thought, it’ll make all the difference.

Also, don’t push yourself to practice the craft if you don’t feel up to it. I’ve made this mistake myself and it resulted in me feeling as though it were a chore. Even doing small things like sweeping the floor or stirring a drink with intent can be part of your practice.
