Oracle Deck Review Thread? Has anyone tried these decks? What do you like to use it for?

I am pretty new to oracle cards, however I have been reading tarot for years.

Just really struggle to connect with some of my oracle decks. Here are the current ones I have.

Archetypes – Kim Krans – Love this deck, still really getting to know it, but so far I really enjoy using it for clients that want introspection. It is a very beautiful and deep deck. Just make sure you know the Archetype and read into Jung, man it just really penetrates your soul. I had a friend cry when I read her cards in this deck.

Arcana of Astrology by Claire Goodchild – Still trying to figure out some usages for this deck, but I kid you not.. this deck gives me the chills. It accurately interpreted my sun sign and moon sign. The cards are a little flimsy, and I am looking for other astrodecks because of that.. but overall I don’t mind it.

Moonology Oracle Cards- A lovely deck, I find it works well with tarot cards. Great quality card stock.

Archetype Cards by Caroline Myss- Another deck that I am still getting to know, I really don’t like the art work… I find it a little to kitschy for me. Still learning how to read it, might give it away to a friend.. I am not sure yet.

Decks I have given away to friends:

Literary Witches Deck – Nothing wrong with this one. Has beautiful artwork, just me personally, I had trouble connecting to it. I think this deck is the best for someone who understands all the authors in this deck.

Amenti Oracle – I know so many people love this deck, but I really struggled to get the meaning behind these cards. I also struggled to find usage with them.

Cosmic Whisper – The Oracle Deck. – The thick cards… the Runes… omg

Nocturna Oracle Deck – the artwork.. so my style.

Memento Mori Oracle Deck – Black and the Moon – This deck is probably top of my wishlist and it is still sitting in my cart. I love the artwork.

Leila + Olive Pythia Botanica Oracle

Astrosoul Oracle Deck – Another one at the top of my list.. the cards are stunning…

Ethreal Orbs Deck – From the same maker as Astrosoul.. top of my list as well.

Uusi Supra Oracle – A friend of mine got me the Pagan tarot deck by them and I am IN LOVE with this company’s artwork. I also love how this deck is loosely based on Jungian psychology.

Uusi Materia Prima – Not sure how I would use it but I love the artwork.

White Light Oracle – I love the simplicity in the artwork.. A lot of tarot and oracle card artwork I find too kitschy or occulty.

The Starseed Oracle – I see this alllll over youtube. People love it..

The Elemental Oracle – Another one people love, not sure how I feel about the artwork.

Highly recommend Nocturna Oracle, Animal Archetypes, and the Astrosoul Deck!

The guidebook for Nocturna doesn’t really have much to it so you do end up relying on your intuition more but it’s all for the better. The linen material is lovely.

Animal Archetypes is my favorite animal deck of all time, the way Kim Krans formed the different animal suits and described how they could be read together in the book is magnificent. The art and cardstock are incredible.

Astrosoul is a very beautiful astrology deck, but doesn’t necessarily provide any more insight for me than the other two astro decks I own (Astrol-OG Deck and Numinous Astro Deck). The other two are less expensive alternatives. However the additional cards in Astrosoul and the guidebook make it worth it.

The White Light Oracle was the first oracle deck I ever got and I used it almost daily haha Its a very pretty and nice deck. My only con with it now that Ive gotten new decks and learned tarot further is that its very positive and wishy washy, which isnt a bad thing per say, but sometimes I need blunt truth and its not good for that. Very good for ego healing and just healing in general as it gives ways to heal with each card in the deck and again very gentle and nice. I recommend 🙂

Also dont know if yur looking for recommendations but my favorite oracle is the celtic tree deck! I would check it out!

Celestial Bodies has not come out yet. I have had mine on pre order since 2019. It has seen a bumpy journey but it should be out soon. It looks to be a real beauty. I do have her Serpentfire and Shewolf decks and both are extremely beautiful. They resonate with me very well. The borderless edition of Serpentfire is my main deck right now. I am very much looking forward to Celestial Bodies!! ♡♡♡

As far as the Kim Krans Archetype oracle.. it’s weird, I have had it since it came out but haven’t felt called to open it yet. I LOVE her tarot deck and used it a lot for a long time. I live in the PNW so the art really feels like home. Still somehow, have not opened yet. Might have to do that soon.

My favorite oracle deck is by The Lioness Oracle, called Visions of the Muse. I have her tarot cards and both are just beautiful. Very good vibes. They, like Serpentfire, are made from collage which I am SO into.

Personally, I use them more as journal or meditation prompts. Sometimes I look through them and pick something (instead of a random draw) that I want to put on my altar and think about. Kind of like adding something to your vision board!

I have the Druid animal Oracle and they’re beautiful, but I feel no connection to them.

White Light Oracle is on my wish list too. There always seems to be other decks I want to buy more, and it keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list . I’m really drawn to more darker themes for tarot/oracle, so this oracle deck has kinda called to me because it was more on the light side for aesthetic, while still having awesome art.
