I’ve been keeping an eye out for an oracle deck to pair with some of my tarot cards. My Roots and Wings works well with some of my cards, but I’d like a second deck to use too. Does anyone know of any oracle decks that might work well specifically with the Ceccoli tarot (I know there’s an oracle by the same artist, but I’m looking for something else), Wooden Tarot, Tarot of the Secret Forest, Wayward Dark, or Enchanted Tarot? I’m a big fan of weird angels, dark gods, strange animals, and monsters. Don’t like mermaids, Doreen Virtue-style angels and fairies, super simplistic or cartoony art styles, or oracle decks where like a third of the card is taken up by writing. Considering Mausolea: Oracle of Souls or the Fairy Oracle with Arthur Rackham’s art, but not completely sold on either. Thanks for any suggestions!

I love Oracle of Visions. For the life of me, I can’t remember the artist right now. The guidebook is nice, with meaningful quotes to add perspective on each card.

The art is somewhat realistic with color schemes of deep red, light blues. People in the cards don masks and costumes.

Sorta a Mardi Gras or Cirque de Soleil feel.

I don’t own it personally, but the flip throughs I have done with Angelarium definitely fit the weird Angel vibe. Not too wordy either.

I do have the Earthbound Oracle in addition to the Wooden Tarot and they work very well in tandem.

Les vampires by lucy cavendish is good if you’re dealing with loss. Fairytale (also by cavendish) is good for seeking paths.

I have the ceccoli Oracle and I love it.

I just bought the ‘Angels and Ancestors Oracle’ deck for one of my friends as a gift – artwork by Lily Moses. My friend is an illustrator so it was important to find a good art style. I’m picky about art styles for my cards as well, and this deck felt like a good choice because the artwork is very earthy and grounded. He’s enjoyed using it to far.

The most beautiful deck I own is the ‘Animal Spirits Knowledge Cards’ with illustrations by Susan Boulet. But these cards can be difficult to read most of the time.
