Fat13CatMemberI’ve been sick for so many weeks now. Did all I was told to do, went to the dr, take my medicine, it was supposed to stop like 5 days ago but I’m still coughing n hacking. It’s so annoying and frustrating. Is there a “get better/get this sickness out of my system” spell or more holistic remedy that works for you or something? I’m out of ideas 😵💫

GuestJune 1, 2023 at 6:19 amMy holistic remedy for upper respiratory is oregano oil and BNA. I swear by it.
Oregano oil is amazing for allergies and colds. I flat out replaced my regular Z-pack/antibiotics with it after years of it working better than anything doctors prescribed me. I’m not suggesting you do the same, because antibiotics still work great for a lot of people, but definitely try adding oregano oil tea to your regiment! It’s an antiviral, anti fungal, antibacterial, and antioxidant. Truly an amazing thing.
As for BNA – it stands for brand new air. My college roommate’s grandma used to ‘refresh’ her BNA once a month, regardless of the outdoor temperature. She would open up ALL windows in her house for 24 hours every month. A lot of people take walks to get ‘fresh air,’ but trust me, refresh the air in your house and it will help your sinuses and lungs!

Get your Covid booster on schedule. The booster helps a lot of people kick the longer lasting symptoms.
Stay hydrated. I’ve got a friend dealing with the multi-week Covid-cough and she carries a bottle of fizzy water to sip when the coughing starts. She says the fizziness helps. Worth a try.

GuestJune 1, 2023 at 6:19 amWhen I can’t kick a cold or its symptoms, I make 100 clove garlic soup. Yes, I really use 100 cloves of garlic to make the most garlicy soup ever – it was my witchy grammy’s recipe and it’s worked extremely well for me! And if I feel a cold coming on, I dice up a couple cloves of garlic and eat it raw.

GuestJune 1, 2023 at 6:19 amTumeric, garlic, ginger tea for your immunity. A lung cleanser tea~ oregano, basil, fennel seed, peppermint, elder berries ~ you’ll find recipes for wet or dry coughs. Lots of water (ounce for every pound a day), short walks, deep breaths upside down, sleep. Best, Sibling 🕯🖖
