Placidus vs whole sign systems for transits .

Hi , so I’m trying to learn more about astrology and this topic has been one of the most confusing topic for me – do we use placidus or whole sign when reading transits ? – and , when we are comparing our natal chart and progressed chart , which house system do we use ? Gosh house systems confuses me so much !

Just pick one and use it. Don’t worry about which for what. Placidus or any of the other quadrant house systems, or Whole or Equal – just pick one and use it for everything. Somewhere down the road when you have a few years of astrology learning behind you, you can always play with some other house system.

I like using whole signs for transits even though I prefer using Placidus for natal chart interpretation. I think just pick one that works for you or you can look at both if you want! I think neither one is “right” or “wrong”

i tend to use whole sign but it’s very subjective. i know some people use whole sign while keeping in mind placidus house cusps and transits to those cusps but i haven’t played around with that myself

I know how you feel. I’ve noticed something similar with tropical vs sidereal.
