Curious to know what planetary transit to natal vertex indicates. There aren’t many articles about this. What happened during a transit to vertex?

Your Vertex is a fated point in your chart – however, it usually is most active in synastry, when someone else’s planet touches your Vertex it’s a fated connection that is pivotal to your life. All our connections are fated IMO but the Vertex connections are extra important.

As far as transits to the Vertex, they can be barely noticeable unless you’re really paying attention. For instance, when Mars hit my Vertex, a few things happened that validated that I’m currently on my path – some “action” – but I saw it coming ahead of time so I could see how it would play out for me.

The vertex behaves very strangely in the tropics and fails completely on the equator. How can a point that doesn’t work where humans evolved be valid?

Here’s an interesting take that is apparently based off research. David cochran, a data analyst who runs the YouTube channel evidence-based astrology, has come to certain conclusions about the vertex.

He claims that the vertex is an alternate ascendant and it gets more and more powerful the further north you are. Meaning that, you might be better off and end up with a more accurate chart if you drew houses from the vertex instead of the ascendant if you live near one of the poles.

Some people call it a destiny point or a faded point, but I’ve never seen any book talk about the vertex. With that said, I’ll take it as a secondary ascendant, especially since I was born in Canada so my chart is a little northern.

So, try reading it the way you read transits to your first house and see if it works out.

It’s strange that work like a secondary ascendant but it usually occupies 5 to 9 houses , and turning the antivertex as a secondary descendant , so the fated meetings are with your vertex ,but we don’t look to the av , shouldn’t be the antivertex the main point to see as if it’s a secondary DC ?
What do you think , do you use vertex progressions?

My boss & I have Vertex conjunct to each other. We have a great relationship but there are times when we don’t want to be around each other.

We’ve known each other for over 20 yrs. Once he fired me. I got called back about 8 yrs later. Then I walked out on him. Then got called back about 3-4yrs later.

Currently, I’m still there. We began to butt heads a little while after coming back the last time & he said something that resonated deeply to me. “We’re like family. We need each other.”

My Vertex is in 6H Scorpio.
