So lately I’ve been smelling stuff that isn’t there, but not physically smelling, more like a mental scent or a very vivid memory of a scent that pops into my mind. The smells range from anything from lemon merengue pie to rotting corpse and just pop up at seemingly random times. What does this mean? Am I crazy??? If it is psychic, how do I even begin to make sense and interpret the smells? This is something that has been happening to me since middle school, but before it was just a “once in a while” thing and now it’s an “at least several times a day” thing.

From a more abstract point of view, getting impressions of scents or even colors can be more loosely translated onto a feeling or vibe, or can trigger a specific memory
If you can shut the conscious mind off from there, that vibe could lead you to something more tangible… if not, that’s fine too, as a lot of this is very ambiguous.
