Hello everyone, I’m a male in highschool I have a female friend who practices witch craft, well recently she made me some type of spell I guess you could say (sorry I’m not very educated!) but I guess it’s like a positive type of spell, it brings in good energy, I’ve been deeply depressed for the last 2 years, she told me I can’t abuse it or something like that, any tips on how to properly use it? I think this is all very interesting and something I may be interested in practicing, thanks!

I would suggest asking her how she wrote/crafted it, what her specific intention was for it, and how to activate it. Witchcraft is a very personalized thing and we all have our own styles and ways of doing things so we can’t really say without knowing all of those aspects. It’s unclear what kind of spell she created too (there’s a big variety!). Is it a written one you’re supposed to recite/chant (and do you need to do extra stuff for it)?
I would definitely encourage you to look into practicing yourself if you’re interested! Witchcraft is a wonderful rabbit hole to fall down and can help in so many ways. It’s essentially a way to get to know yourself better and can open a lot of doors – even healing. It’s helped me with my own depression and whatnot through the years and has acted as a kind of therapy at times. As mentioned before, it’s highly personalized so you can find ways to work it tailored to your interests/strengths (which could help through the depression too to give you something to focus on). Also, don’t be intimidated by the ritualistic side of things if that sounds like a lot, not everyone practices that way. It’s really all entirely up to you!
