I’m wondering: isn’t the Occult Tarot by Travis McHenry kind of dangerous since it remise on démon’s names and imagery?

I noticed their marks are also used.

I’m intrigued by this tarot but from what I’ve heard and known from demons and entities is that their names have a power…

Maybe am worried for nothing but better safe than sorry, wanted you gals, guys and pals opinion

    Can it be dangerous? Yes.

But it depends what you do with it, how strong/careful/smart you are abd what you do with it.

Little in practice is inherently dangerous in and of itself, only the way it is used.

I think to use these cards you should be very familiar with what powers you are dealing with. As with anything in witchcraft, knowledge is power. If you don’t know you should never thank the fae, you may make a mistake that gives you a good deal of grief. The same can be said of daemonic entities. These are not inherently “evil” or “bad”, but some may have chaotic intentions that are obfuscated in seductive and alluring ways.

I would handle this deck the same way I would handle contact with deities: lots and lots of research. Who are they? What are their stories? What do they do/what is or was their influence on Earth? Who are they friends with? What do they get angered by? What are they pleased with? Etc.

Are you referring to Baphomet? Because Baphomet is not the devil, the devil was actually stolen from Baphomet, and the described Satan’s image as Baphomet.

“Since 1856, the name Baphomet has been associated with the “Sabbatic Goat” image drawn by Éliphas Lévi,[1][2][7] which contains binary elements representing the “symbolization of the equilibrium of opposites”[1] (e.g. half-human and half-animal, male and female, good and evil, etc.).[1][2] On one hand, Lévi’s intention was to symbolize his concept of balance that was essential to his magnetistic notion of the Astral Light;[1][2] on the other hand, the Baphomet represents a tradition that should result in a perfect social order.[1][2]”
