Question about reverse cards

GuestFebruary 8, 2021 at 9:11 amI actually shuffle in such a way as to maximize the likelihood of reversed cards. Keeps things interesting.

GuestFebruary 8, 2021 at 9:11 amThere’s no need to treat reversed cards any differently than upright cards.

GuestFebruary 8, 2021 at 9:11 amI don’t know about other folks, but when I do a reading, I start with a blanked deck: I go through the whole deck and put it back into “factory order”, so to speak; all facing up, and facing front, in order from lowest to highest.
To do the reading, I shuffle several times, and cut at least three.
Then I pull cards and place them on the table, and if they fall reversed, so be it.
When I’m done with the reading, I pick up all the cards, and sort them before putting them away.
So, for me, the only time I have reversed cards in the deck is after I shuffled, and while I am reading.
This holds whether I am doing a simple three card pull, or pulling cards to show influences and guides on a full reading, which at one point led to all 78 cards being laid out to interpret.
I go with how the cards feel to me.
I share all that because I wasn’t sure exactly what you meant by your question, so I thought that sharing how I use my cards might help answer your question, depending on how you are using the reversed card.
Ultimately, I think, go with the practice that feels most right to you.
