I am not a medium. I am not sure where to get advice for this but a few weeks ago I had a dream that my uncle (passed away) was showing me that my favorite pen that I lost was “surrounded by red”. After the dream I was kind of confused and forgot about it. Then a few days later I remembered that we have a red couch in the office upstairs and my sister likes to do her work in there. I checked and my pen was stuck deep in between the red cushions! I was so happy to find it even though my sister definitely jacked my pen LOL. My questions are: Do these kind of dreams come from only a “divine” place? Can any family member on the other side show you things like this? Was it actually my uncle that showed me this?

I can’t answer this concretely. May have been anything divine coming to you in the form of your uncle if your had a trustworthy connection with him, or your uncle himself. Maybe even your own subconscious and intuition depicted as someone you trust if you can’t trust yourself. Connect with your intuition and inner guide. You may be surprised with what else or who else it reveals to your benefit.

It sounds like it, yes. Did it feel like a lucid dream? Did you wake up and feel like you saw or spent time with him? Would helping you find the pen be something he would do when he was physical, like would that be in character for him? Or maybe he gave you the pen 😁
It’s pretty safe to say in the spirit world if you think it’s your loved one, it is. Because that’s part of the communication, they’ll do something special, then you’ll think of them. That’s not just your own thoughts, that’s them and their way of saying, hey, that’s me. I’m here. 😊 -
There is no way for us to know definitely. You subconscious mind may have known it was in the couch.
In dreams, we can give ourselves information using the archetype of a person alive, deceased or fantastical as the symbol to access our own knowledge.
