MateoParticipantYou guys did so great with the Hieroglyphics – This should be easy! This is the Robin-Wood Deck, the deck I learned and mastered Tarot.
To read tarot you look at:
The Pictures – Mood and general emotion
The suits – Pentacles (money), Swords (thoughts), Cups (feelings), Wands (actions) and Majors (BIG CHANGES)
The number of the cards: Numerology
Position: Past-Present-Future
Note: This is not my reading or anyone I know, so hack away! No wrong answers!)

GuestFebruary 12, 2021 at 8:15 amThe five of swords can be seen here as the shadow side or lower current of the strength card.
Strength is about conquering our own lower nature. It’s about character build, it’s about humility as a source of true confidence.
It’s not about brute force, it’s not about showing who is the boss. It’s about being our own boss and letting other people just be.
This is not a competition, I am not better than you and I don’t have to be! My path is towards self mastery. The Five of swords here is the opposite. Is the control of external influences to hide from ourselves how powerless we truly feel. It’s a power play. If I cut others off, then maybe I can feel better about myself… but that’s because I don’t have the inner strength to bring myself up by myself. It’s about power. It’s about creating a mask, a facade to hide how scared we truly are. A mask of pride to hide our vulnerabilities.
The two of pentacles is the juggling of our higher self with our lower nature.
It’s the individualization process of moving back and forth between the strength and the 5 of swords until we find out who is it that we really are. Until we reach balance and fully embrace the strength within us. -

GuestFebruary 12, 2021 at 8:15 amI feel like the strength card represents that any problem can be handled no matter what. You can tame the lion – you are in control.
The middle card speaks to me and says that life is a balance – money comes in and money comes out. New experiences can make you feel overwhelmed but things will balance out.
The last one makes me think of like a Lone Ranger – his thoughts stand out from the crowd. Go with your gut and you will succeed. -

GuestFebruary 12, 2021 at 8:15 amI think strength is about… well strength lol. But courage, inner strength and bravery. Not simply the physical but often the mental. The image is a woman facing down a fearsome animal for this reason.
The 2 of pentacles is about choices I think, making the correct choice specifically.
I think the 5 of swords is about deception and treachery, it’s about being dishonest in your intentions to others.
I can’t remember exactly as it’s a long time since I saw some of these cards so I took a bit of a guess 🙂

GuestFebruary 12, 2021 at 8:15 amI get a sense of trying to hold oneself together to change situations in order to be able to walk away from a situation that’s better left behind. Shadow work, trying to make the inner personal changes needed to be able to move on.
