Have you looked into the decks that were made for this? There’s the Art History for Past Lives Tarot which also came with a workbook of spreads and journal prompts. And there’s the Discover Your Past Lives Oracle. The guidebook had multiple spreads and exercises of this type.
Another idea is the book Past Lives & Karmic Tarot by Edwin McCoy.
